A short block rebuilds include:
JE forged Pistons& rings, Arp Rod bolts, heavy duty bearings(Main, Rod, thrust &intershaft)
Engine block is bored, honed(wplate), decked and hot tanked.Connecting rods are reconditioned
Crank is polished, rings are filed, clearances checked and assembled
