Finally you can eliminate chain slack when setting your vr6 cam timing. There is no slack in the chain during acceleration so why during setting in cams? Allows for perfect crank and cam correlation. Also allows proper cam timing when using any thickness head gasket and any resurfacing done to head or block. The proven vernier design (Porsche 911) allows for infinite incremental timing adjustment. It is possible to adjust the timing in 1.5 increments simply by aligning the holes in both the hub and sprocket at the desired position. A steel dowel pin secures your timing position, ensures more precise and locked cam timing. Once set, this gear will not slip during use. CNC machined completely from 303 Stainless Steel
